So what do your customers find valuable?
If you already have customers, ask them – don't assume.
Consider calling and asking them questions like:
- Why did you choose us in the first place?
- Why do you stay with us?
- What do we do that others don't?
And if you're feeling bold, ask them:
- Do you refer us? If yes, why? If not, why not?
- What could we/our products/services do for you that we don't?
- What phrase(s) would you use to search for our product/service/solution?
Don't yet have customers?
- Define your Ideal Customer Profile.
- Build 3-5 Personas to define different segment types of customers you want to attract.
- Map and define your Buyer Journey to map a positive experience for your future customers.
As Marcus Aurelius Antoninus said, "Look beneath the surface; let not the several qualities of neither the thing, nor its worth escape thee."
